Sorry, this story is so long, i am writing this tidbit just to give others a little bit of info on things that can happen when you order from wayfair...... until yesterday I had ordered nearly my entire household from Wayfair, so I ordered a sectional from wayfair in December of 2017, I got an email stating it would be delivered Monday the 22 of January, well since I ordered a new sectional I had sent my other living room furniture with my son who is in the military, he just got stationed in California, so I am home from work on Monday waiting my delivery then at been I get an email from the delivery service saying they won’t be delivering till Friday, I decided I should call because I wasn’t sure I would be home and I had concerns about bad weather, I was told by the delivery service “ oh well, that’s to bad, that’s all on you “.

So I contacted wayfair and was told they would take care of the problem. So Friday came and we were supposed to be out of town, we had not left the house yet and the delivery service arrived (without giving a 30 minutes pre call) Anyway they unloaded 1 box gave me my receipt and left, immediately I knew we had a problem, one box delivered and my receipt shows I bought and paid for a sectional, so I call wayfair customer service and explained that we have a problem, I explained that I am missing some items, the customer service representative found my account and states she sees where I ordered the sectional and said that just recently they discovered a miss price error on the website so the sent me a recliner instead, I explained my story about the stressful delivery mess and giving my furniture away and that now I don’t have any furniture, I even asked why would I not get a call explaining the error (since it had been nearly a month ) instead of just sending a box and hoping I wouldn’t figure out I had been scammed.

Anyway the representative put me on hold for quite a while, she finally came back and stated that I could not have the original sectional I ordered unless I want to pay the new price which was almost $3000 more, we talked for some time and she stated that she felt bad and knew the company should stand behind their price, but that her boss said no, I explained to her that I would be seeking legal counsel because I felt I have no other choice, I am very disappointed that Wayfair does not stand behind what they advertised !! Now I am left with no furniture and a recliner I didn’t order !!
