I ordered a loveseat - they sent me an incomplete item (in a box for me to put together myself. Several pieces were missing.

I called; they apologized and said "this is not typical for Wayfair" I gave them the benefit of the doubt....I returned the item and ordered a new one. The 2nd one came with the wrong size cushions where people would sink in the middle when seated! I had company coming (and had sent my other sofa to a charity) so I made inserts to tighten the seat - I contacted Wayfair, sent them pictures of the incomplete item, and they again apologized and assured me they would send new cushions! They did not - It has been more than 2 months.....I have record of more than 20 emails discussing this back and forth, over and over....multiple promises.

(I am communicating in writing because I want record of it). Finally in one of the most recent emails, someone said (in writing) "we will either send you new cushions or refund your money" They did neither....I now am stuck with an incomplete loveseat, no new cushions AND they are threatening collections if I don't pay. I Am Determined....Pick up the loveseat and don't charge me, OR send me new cushions, OR write it off.....but don't expect me to pay for something that is incomplete! They are insisting they have no more responsibility - pay them or else!

I know this must be illegal (and certainly unethical), and I am continuing to try and reason with them....but it seems futile Wondering how I can possibly fight such unethical behavior from a large wealthy entity....it's like they are masters of manipulation. Do not order from Wayfair!

Reason of review: Damaged or defective.

Monetary Loss: $200.

Preferred solution: The things I have already suggested and been ignored: Either: 1) Send me the correct seat cushions (my preference), and then I will pay you OR 2) Come pick up the sofa and make this bill go away!! OR 3) Admit your error, refund , and stop harassing me!!!.

Just do what I did. call up credit card explain.

And I got my MasterCard to fully reverse the transaction amount and then they are sending a letter to wayfair to forceably make them pay the sum back I tried for a week to get through to customer service they acted like it was my fault but no can do attitude. Either way they spin it. I lose money. You ship back.

We deduct original ship and return ship and u get leftover (almost zero as their fee is $27 for an item that was FREE SHIP and at checkout there was no mention of how much it would cost to return it to them. It said free return. (Apparently it is if you accept store credit). Well.

If I take store credit they keep all the money. In their account. I felt my situation warranted a full refund no strings attached. .

I still have the stuff. And can’t ship back cuz they won’t talk to me.

But I’ve been fully refunded my $150 by MasterCard. try it.
