I had a 10% off coupon that was expiring in a couple days.I found a rug (over $200, so decently priced) that I really wanted to buy.

I went to 'add to cart' and realized it was out of stock. I decided I would first ask the customer service if there was anything they could do to compensate since the date it was expected back in stock was a couple months away. The answer was flat out "No, we cannot extend your coupon or offer you another one or do anything to compensate for not having it in stock" They then tried to encourage me to purchase something else - No thank you! I want what I came to purchase.

I ended up finding it available at several other places and purchased from Home Depot who honored the 10% off coupon.Their loss!
